It’s August! How did we get here so fast? Can someone please slow down time and add more hours in the day?
If you don’t know me in “real” life you probably don’t know that photography is not my only gig. I work as a marketing consultant, I’m an Airbnb host (and so is Emanuele with Airbnb experiences) and I’m a mother. So one day I may be cleaning a house and welcoming hosts, the other shooting in Lisbon streets and another locked at home in my computer preparing marketing campaigns. And of course, I need to find the time for my 5 year old super hero, plus family and friends!
So yes, it gets crazy, it’s intense, but it’s all freaking amazing! The best part (and as cliché as it may sound) is the awesome people we get to meet.
Like Martha and Sascha! What a photo shoot. Martha and Sascha are from Germany, but they live and work in Dublin (our old city, the city where Emanuele and I met). Martha was looking for a Lisbon photographer and found us on Instagram.
Sascha proposed to Martha in Lisbon (they’re getting married in Sicily next year) and when they booked their flights to Lisbon to go to the NOS Alive festival. Martha had this idea in mind to surprise Sascha and hire a Lisbon photographer to do their engagement photo shoot.
From the first messages and phone call, I immediately liked her and was so grateful she picked us. In fact, we all connected so well and this engagement photo shoot around the streets of Lisbon was nothing short of amazing!
We asked Martha and Sascha if they’d be ok to go with us to Convento do Carmo, the Bica neighbourhood, the pink street in Cais do Sodré and cross the river to Almada and they were happy to follow us to these locations. See the result and tell us in the comments if you love it as much as we do!
